The political calendar is full of boring retorts that have nothing to do with changing the country for the better. To liven up the situation, VibeReview decided to launch its new ‘Obama For President” Coupon this afternoon. If you want to save a few bucks during these trying economic times and you want to show some love for Obama, this is the right coupon for you.
Obama For President Coupon
You can use the 10% coupon over and over and over until election day. Not a bad deal at all.
And apparently some Diggs are being thrown around:
Obama and Vibrators
The majority of the country went with “Wanted Dead or Alive” during the last election. Why not go with sex toys for equality. Sure, it’s not the catchiest idea in the world, but at least everyone is so busy pleasing him or herself (or each other) that [...]

Glenn R. Simpson reports on the presidential race.
Obama campaign officials said a trio of Palestinian brothers in the Middle East attempted last year to make $33,000 in illegal donations to the campaign via the internet.
The brothers sought to buy “Obama for President” T-shirts in some 97 attempts, 32 of which were initially successful.
They wrongly identified themselves as American citizens, campaign officials said, and listed their address as “GA”, the abbreviation for Georgia, when in fact they live in a refugee camp in Gaza, a rump city-state between Israel and Egypt that is under the control of Hamas.
The donations came in between Sept. 20 and Dec. 6 and virtually all of the money, about $33,500, was returned by December 6. But the refunds weren’t reported to the Federal Election Commission due to a technical error, campaign officials said.
The remaining $2,500 was refunded Monday. The refunds will [...]

I’ve been saying for quite some time that Elizabeth Hasselbeck, on “The View”, doesn’t really have her own opinions, she’s a regurgitator. And for whatever reason, she actually has some fans on that show, even though her arguments are at best weak, and at worst, statements she heard someone else make; essentially she’s a puppet.
Well there’s a new book out by David Freddoso who builds an extreme case against Barack Obama for President. Freddoso twists the truth and manipulates the facts to build his case. In an interview on CNN you could see the little Swift Boat and Limbaugh puppets sitting on his shoulder whispering in his ear. He couldn’t even feign fairness. It’s the same one-sided, political attack common to the republican party for the last 40 years.
Back to Hasselbeck. Here’s my prediction. She will probably never quote this new book (The Case Against Barack Obama) specifically because she would never give credit to [...]

The Politico reports,
A guy gets 70% of the Republican primary vote, and how does he repay his party? By endorsing Barack Obama for president and the Democratic challenger to an incumbent Republican for Senate. At least that’s how Joel Haugen, challenging Oregon Rep. David Wu, decided to thank his party’s leadership for their support.
Haugen, a businessman and Army veteran, is running an uphill campaign in a district Wu has held onto against good Republican challengers. So instead of embracing fellow Republicans in a state that’s moving increasingly left, Haugen is falling in line with Obama, and he’s is listed on State House Speaker Jeff Merkley’s website as a backer; Merkley is the Democratic nominee against Senator Gordon Smith.
The endorsements aren’t something Haugen is hiding. “We certainly understand why people are so surprised to see” Haugen backing Obama, the campaign writes on its website, citing the Democrat’s positions on foreign policy [...]
